Andorra In Summer 2019

Last summer (August 2019) we had a lovely weekend exploring Andorra without snow! Just 200km away from Barcelona by car, it takes roughly 2 to 2 and a half hours to get to this incredible destination. Close to the center of Andorra where we stayed the night in a cheap comfortable hotel was a tourist short hike with a viewpoint called Del Roc Del Quer de Canillo - a stunning viewpoint, however, packed with tourists. #nature #Andorra #Delrocdequerdecanillo

We recommend once you have the opportunity to see this famous Andorrian viewpoint there is another path that offers a less crowded off the beaten track experience. We don’t know the name of this route and there isn’t parking so have faith in nature and just leave your car at the bottom of the creek and follow the river in the opposite direction. The photos below will justify why you should just leave your car to see this beautiful hidden hiking trail.

Hiking Trip Tip - Pack some sandwiches for lunch and park your car at a viewpoint. It’s worth the view and doesn’t cost more than €4.
